Never ever start a new journal on the front page, if it goes differently to how that image was imagined it’ll be the first thing you see when opening your book and it will always bug you! Instead let the book fall open randomly in the middle and start there! When you feel confident enough go back to your first page and give it your best shot, if it doesn’t go to plan, who cares, you already have a book of amazing creations!!
